Chorizo pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • Marcel Senchou Cayenne pepper ketchup
  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1/2 chorizo
  • 1 tin of peeled tomatoes – (450 g)
  • Tomato paste
  • 1 tomato – fresh (optional)
  • 1 packet grated Gruyère cheese (70 g)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large pinches Espelette pepper
  • Oregano – (or herbes de Provence)
  • 1 onion – small
  • Salt
  • Pepper

  1. Make the pizza dough and leave to rise for at least an hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 210°C, gas mark 7.
  3. Brown the chopped onion in a frying pan. Then add the Marcel Senchou Cayenne pepper ketchup. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Remove the skin from the chorizo and cut into strips.
  5. Cut the tomato into thin strips.
  6. Spread the pizza dough on an oven tray, add the Marcel Senchou cayenne pepper ketchup, the grated cheese and the tomato and chorizo strips. Leave the pizza to rest for 30 minutes in a warm, humid atmosphere.
