TURMERIC 40G

Want to bring a touch of Bollywood to your dishes? Swap your acting skills for cooking skills with this very popular Indian spice! Turmeric has a lovely rich orange colour similar to that of many curries. It can be cooked with rice to add colour and flavour. We love turmeric for its characteristic taste, which while warming never overpowers a dish. Are you looking for sweetness and character? Turmeric can be combined with coconut cream or chilli. All you have to do is let your imagination run wild!

Suggestions

To make turmeric rice, fry garlic, a little ginger and turmeric in olive oil. Then pour the rice directly into the pan and cover with water. It is generally recommended to use 1.5 parts water to 1 part rice when using this cooking method. Bring to the boil and then cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Once all the liquid has been absorbed, add a few sultanas for an even more flavoursome rice dish.
