The strands are perfect for making a saffron sauce. You can also cook them in cream to obtain a very tasty sauce. Most of the time, saffron on its own is enough to season your dishes. A few citrus notes can also enhance it.
Use our saffron strands to make a tasty risotto. Simply sauté some shallots in white wine. Add the risotto rice until it is becomes pearly in appearance. The cooking process then continues in the same way as for a classic risotto, i.e. gradually adding hot stock until the rice is cooked.
