MIN OF COOKING

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tins (400g each) chickpeas, drained
  • 3 tablespoons tahini (sesame purée)
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 1 teaspoon Marcel Senchou garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Marcel Senchou paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Marcel Senchou cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Marcel Senchou turmeric
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons water (optional, to adjust consistency)
  • Raspberry (for the glasses of water)

  1. Start by rinsing the chickpeas thoroughly under cold water to remove all traces of brine.
  2. In a food processor, combine the drained chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, paprika, cumin, turmeric, salt and pepper.
  3. Blend until smooth and homogenous. If necessary, add a little water to adjust the consistency to your preference.
  4. Then, while blending, slowly add the olive oil until the mixture is well incorporated and the hummus is creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary, adding more salt, pepper or lemon juice to taste.
  6. Once ready, transfer the hummus to a serving dish and drizzle with extra olive oil, sprinkle with a little paprika and cumin for decoration.
  7. Serve the hummus with fresh vegetables cut into sticks, pieces of warm pita bread or pita chips.
    Enjoy!
