PROVENCE OREGANO 10G

Do you know France’s Drôme region famed for its sunshine and picturesque villages? Take a trip to the south of France with our Provence oregano grown in the heart of this beautiful part of the country. Put on your sunglasses, you’re going to need them with this sunny little herb! Oregano is used in many simmered dishes to impart a characteristic, slightly bitter taste. Your favourite pizza chef may also use it as a topping on pizzas, and who needs an excuse to make a pizza!

Suggestions

Oregano is an incredibly versatile herb that can be used in a fish marinade or to season meat. For a change from traditional dill, we like to use this aromatic herb to season salmon. A little lemon juice, a few pinches of salt and a drizzle of olive oil makes for a very tasty treat. If you pan-fry your salmon, add the oregano at the end of the cooking process. Then cover for a few minutes, so that your fish is melt-in-the-mouth soft and full of flavour.
