The taste of black sesame seeds, a cousin of classic white sesame seeds, is more pronounced and they are appreciated for their nutty flavour. The combination of these two sesame varieties will make you love family gatherings! You can also use black sesame to enhance a Japanese chef’s style vinegar rice.
Their distinctive colour also lends itself to beautiful restaurant-style presentations. We’re sure these little seeds will wow your loved ones!
Black sesame pairs beautifully with fish. The Marcel Senchou team fell in love with black sesame crusted salmon steak. Simply coat a salmon steak in black sesame seeds using egg and flour. Then cook the salmon in a pan previously brushed with olive oil. Finish by adding a few drops of lemon juice and serve with rice. Bon Appetit!
